The wearer of the Ben 10 omnitrix watch can take on many forms, and this is exactly what the words omni and trix combined means in Latin. Strapped on to the wrist and push a button on the side, a face will pop up and show a silhouette of an alien. Interestingly the aliens in the Ben 10 Omnitrix watch age along with the wearer and back again into a child as the wearer change. Ben also retains injuries suffered by his alien force; however the Omnitrix has the ability to repair genetic damage.

The Omnitrix possesses a self-destruct code in case it ever landed in the wrong hands. However, it not only destroys itself, but the resulting explosion will create an energy ripple that will disintegrate the universe along with it.
